SEN Support at The Coppice Spring Academy

We are a west Hampshire based academy, part of Catch22, who offer provision for secondary aged students (boys and girls) with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs; Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN); and/or an Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC).

All of our students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHC) (previously statement of Special Educational Needs) issued by their home Local Authority. We currently offer provision for 84 students. The school has rapidly grown in student numbers with an increasing number of students identified as having ASC. An enhanced ASC provision was opened in 2014, which is proving to be a popular and successful aspect of the school’s provision. This continues to develop and is supported with regular visits and training from a specialist Educational Psychologist and Occupational Therapists.

Please see our SEND Policy on the Policies page for the most up to date Local Offer.
